“Madhuram Malayalam” program organized by Mathrubhumi

As a part of "Madhuram Malayalam" initiative of the Malayalam daily, Mathrubhumi, to promote reading literacy among students, Rotary Club, Chalakudy South, sponsored and exchanged a verbal agreement with Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy to distribute ten newspapers in a year to the students of Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy. The official function was presided over by Mr. Biju Ambazhakkadan, President, Rotary Club, Chalakudy South. Dr. Sr. Irene, Principal, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy elaborated on the significance of inculcating reading habits among students and also urged the members of the audience to wholly construe the true pertinence of the endeavour of the Malayalam daily,  Mathrubhumi. Mr. A. T. Martin, Secretary, Rotary Club, Chalakudy South and Mr. M. S. Dileep, Treasurer, Rotary Club, Chalakudy South offered felicitation speeches. Mr. Joju Pathiyaparambil, District Officer and Past President, Rotary Club, Chalakudy South proposed the vote of thanks.  The formal function concluded with the message that only through the development of reading habit in us, we will be led into the vast world of info.
