Motto: Our Past, Your Future



Heritage Club : Heritage Club was initiated in the year 2012 for the students with the purpose of creating awareness, preserving and promoting our varied and rich, ancient culture and traditions, among the young learners. It conducts various activities and educational excursions for students that enable them to appreciate the traditions, culture and religious diversity of our country. The motto of Our Heritage Club is “Paithruka Samrakshanam”.

History Association : History Association which represents the interests of all the students of the department and acts as liaison between students and the department. All the activities of the department were organized under the aegis of history association

PSC Coaching : The Department has taken the initiative to organize PSC coaching classes for the students of the department.

Seminars and guest lectures : The Department takes special interest in arranging seminars and guest lecturers for students every year. In addition to this, students are also encouraged to attend seminars in other institutions.

Study Tour : Compulsory study tour to destinations of Indian architectural, archaeological, historical and cultural significant centers to be conducted either in 5th or in 6th semesters

Extension Activities : Students visit orphanages and old age homes of the locality and help the inmates. They also join them to celebrate festivals and other celebrations.

Celebrations : All historically important days are commemorated with various programs
