Faculty Development Program organised by IQAC

Introduction:

The Faculty Development Program titled "Empowering Minds, Enriching Futures: Embracing NEP 2020 in Higher Education Ecosystem '' was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Sacred Heart College Chalakudy on June 1, 2023, at Clare Hall. The program featured Dr. Sr. Theresa CSST, Secretary General of Xavier Board of Higher Education in India (XBHEI), as the resource person. The purpose of this report is to provide an overview of the program's objectives, key topics covered, and the outcomes achieved.

Program Objectives:

1. To familiarize faculty members with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its implications for the higher education system in India.
2. To understand the transformative changes proposed by NEP 2020 and their relevance in the current higher education landscape.
3. To explore innovative pedagogical practices aligned with NEP 2020 for enhancing student learning outcomes.
4. To provide a platform for knowledge exchange, discussions, and collaboration among participants.
