    • 26th September 2016: Sr. Lalitha Treesa (former Principal) has taken charge as the Director of the College.
    • 12th–13th December 2016: NAAC peer team visit in the College
    • 30th January 2017: The certificate for re-accreditation by NAAC with A+ grade (CGPA 3.55 out of 4) in 2017 (3rd cycle) was officially declared and celebrated in a fitting manner. Mr. B D Devassy MLA, Ms. Usha Parameswaran (Chair Person, Chalakudy Municipality), Dr. Fr. Jose Thekken (Principal, Christ College, Irinjalakuda) were the esteemed personalities on the occasion
    • 15th–18th August 2018: The college suffered big damage in the biggest ever flood happened in Kerala.
  • January 2018: The college was accorded atar status by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and received a grant of Rs. 63 lakhs
