Ashly hails from Karukutty in Ernakulam district. She completed her graduation in English Language and Literature from St.Xavier’s College for Women, Aluva and her Post Graduation in English and Comparative Literature from Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod. She has also completed her B.Ed in English Education from MG University, Kottayam. She worked at Rajagiri Viswajyothi College for Arts and Applied Sciences, Perumbavoor for 18 months.
