NSS Units 76 & 84 organized a series of programmes in connection with the observance of World Folklore Day celebrations on 22 Aug 2022. The NSS volunteers took active roles under the guidance of the NSS Programme Officers in identifying and planting medicinal plants in the college campus.
Also, a nature class on a myriad of endless possibilities by making use of the available flora with medicinal values in the nature related to the cure of many a disease was articulated by Dr. Sr. Betty K. P., Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy.
The NSS volunteers were given guidance related to the future undertaking of a minor project that encompasses collecting and sharing of local epistemes, with a special focus on medicinal herbs, to the members of the larger society.
