Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Chalakudy celebrated its 46th College Day on 4th February 2026 at 10:30 AM in the College Auditorium with great enthusiasm and pride.
The formal function began with a prayer, followed by the College Report presented by Prof. Dr. Sr. Irene, Principal. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Sr. A. Princy Anto, Vice Principal & HoD, Department of English. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. Sr. Vinaya Bastin FCC, Education Councillor. The function was inaugurated by Sri. Suresh Babu I. S., DFO, Vazhachal, while Sri. Collin Paul, CEO, Lens & Vision Optics, Chalakudy, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
Felicitations were offered by distinguished dignitaries including Sri. K. V. Paul (Vice Chairman, Chalakudy Municipality), Smt. Bindu Sasikumar (Ward Councillor), Sri. Saju Pathadan (President, M’ Power SH), and Fr. Anoop Anto Puthussery (CMI), College Chaplain. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. Stiya D’Silva, College Union Chairperson. The formal session concluded with the National Anthem, followed by vibrant cultural programmes showcasing the talents of the students.
