The inauguration of the computer science association “CASC ” was held on 16 September 2022 in the Clare hall at 10 a.m. The chief guest for the occasion was Dr.Binu P Chacko, principal of Prajyoti Niketan College, Pudukad. The inauguration started with a prayer song by Ms.Krishnanjana M G, Ms. Sona Biju students of MSc Computer Science. Dr. Jisha Jose Panackal, Association Coordinator of the Department of Computer Science delivered the welcome speech. The presidential address was held by Rev. Dr. Sr. Irene, Principal, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy. The event was formally inaugurated by lightening the lamp by the chief guest in the presence of Principal, HOD, other staff members and the students of the Computer Science department. The inaugural speech was given by Dr. Binu P Chacko. He enlightened the minds of the young aspirants. The felicitation was delivered by Dr. Shirley Jose, HOD of Economics and IQAC Coordinator of the College. It was followed by Dr. Sr. Miranto, HOD of Computer Science. After that Ms. Jesteena Joy, Secretary of “CASC " delivered the vote of thanks and the formal function was declared to an end by the comparer Fansila P J, Msc Computer Science student. After the formal meeting, an orientation session was taken by Dr. Binu P Chacko. He mainly covered the topics related to research, projects and how to get ready for the IT future. Ms.sreelakshmi, MSc Computer Science student, shared the valuable information imported in the class. The program concluded by 12.30 pm. The elected members of “CASC” for the academic year 2022-2023 is Ms.Jesteena Joy as Secretary, Ms.Sreelakshmi as treasurer, Ms Krishnajana and Ms. Sona Biju as executive members.
