The inauguration ceremony of the Computer Science Association, "CASC," commenced at 11 a.m. Dr. Jomy John, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at PMG College, Chalakudy, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Offering the welcome speech was Dr. Jisha Jose Panackal, the Association Coordinator of the Department of Computer Science. The presidential address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Sr. Irene, the Principal.
The formal inauguration took place with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, attended by the Principal, Head of the Department (HOD), other faculty members, and the students of the Computer Science department. Dr. Jomy John, in her inaugural speech, enlightened the young aspirants with her insights. Dr. Neetha V, HOD of Zoology and IQAC Coordinator of the College, delivered the felicitation, followed by Dr. Sr. Miranto, HOD of Computer Science. Subsequently, Ms. Sandra Ramachandran, Secretary of "CASC," expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks.
Following the formal proceedings, Dr. Jomy John conducted an orientation session on "Generative AI," captivating the audience with her expertise. The program concluded at 1:30 pm.
