Energy club in association with IIC (institution innovation council) and Department of Physics conducted an interdepartmental quiz competition on December 14, 2022 as part of observing National Energy Conservation Day at Clare Hall. The programme commenced with students taking oath on energy conservation. Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Princy Anto inaugurated the programme and led the pledge/oath taking. Dr. Nijo Varghese, HOD, Department of physics, felicitated the event. II M.Sc physics students led the quiz programme. 90 students participated in the quiz programme. The team consisted of two students each. The quiz was conducted in two rounds, preliminary and final round. After the preliminary round 5 teams were selected for the final round. The first prize was secured by Ms. Sona Mariya and Ms. Abia Cleetus of III DC Physics. The second and third prize was bagged by Ms. Devika and Ms. Alphonsa (I DC B.Com Cooperation)and Ms. Jesteena and Ms. Sreelakshmi ( II M.Sc Computer Science) respectively. Ms. Fency K F and Ms. Libi Prakash, Faculty, Physics Department coordinated the event along with energy club student coordinator Ms. Arshana Pullikudy (II M.Sc physics).
