Faculty development programs play a critical role in the professional growth and development of college faculty. These programs are essential for the continued growth and success of faculty. IQAC organised a Faculty Development Program - "Workshop on SPARK & Essential Service Rules" for teaching and non-teaching staff on March 14, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm in Clare Hall. Prof. Dr. T Mohammed Salim, Principal, of Farook Training College, Calicut was the resource person. The resource person has explained the service terms, rules and regulations, UGC Career Advancement Scheme and finally the qualities of enlightened people to have a successful career through this session. The outcomes of this enlightening session are as follows:

1. Increased understanding of service rules: The workshop helped faculty to gain a better understanding of the service rules that apply to them, including how they can impact their employment status and career progression.

2. Improved compliance: The workshop helped to ensure that faculty are aware of their obligations under service rules and are taking the necessary steps to comply with them.

3. Better communication: The workshop provided a platform for open communication and discussion between faculty and management about service rules, which can help to prevent misunderstandings and promote a more collaborative work environment.

4. Greater job satisfaction: When college faculty have a clear understanding of the service rules that apply to them, and they feel that they are being treated fairly and equitably, they are more likely to feel satisfied with their job.

Overall, the Workshop on Service Rules helped to promote a better understanding of the rules that apply to faculty, foster better communication and collaboration between faculty and management, and improve job satisfaction and compliance with rules.
