Celebrations marking the 67th Kerala Formation Day were conducted with enthusiasm, showcasing the diverse cultural programs organized by the Malayalam Department. Mr. Suresh Nair, the Malayalam professor at Mala Jesus Training College, inaugurated the event. Renowned Edakka vocalist Vaidehi Suresh performed a soulful rendition of sopana music.

The sopana music, a unique art form of Kerala, and the traditional instruments accompanying it were explained in detail, providing students with a profound understanding. This event served as an introduction to the rich heritage of Malayalam language and culture, offering a contemporary experience.

Malayalimanga beauty contest, which brings together Malayali youth with an emphasis on language and culture, served as a valuable initiative . It aimed to bring Kerala's scientific knowledge to students along with a focus on the state's scenic beauty.

Additionally, the Literary Criticism Competition, featuring analyses of literary works, contributed to the literary taste and aesthetic sensibilities of the students. It successfully brought literature to the forefront, creating a bridge between literature and the students' literary perceptions.
