National Anti-Ragging Day was commemorated on campus under the theme “Unite Against Ragging: Anti-Ragging Awareness Mahotsav,” following directives from the UGC. The celebrations kicked off with an enlightening talk by Mr. Satheesh V.V., PRO and Sub Inspector of Police, Chalakudy, who addressed the serious nature of ragging and its detrimental effects on personal and social development.

A poignant short film depicting the consequences of ragging, along with an anti-ragging message from Aiswarya Dongre IPS, Assistant Director and Superintendent of Police, was screened in the college auditorium for the students.

On August 13, 2024, the Anti-Ragging Cell organized a Peace Procession to raise awareness against ragging and promote the values of peace and tolerance. Dr. Sr. Reena Ittyachan, the Principal, flagged off the procession at 12:45 PM, with full participation from the student body.

To further engage students, several competitions were organized, including logo creation, collage making, and extempore speech contests, which saw enthusiastic participation. Winners were recognized with prizes during the closing ceremony.

The events were shared on the college's social media platforms, significantly increasing their visibility and outreach. The Anti-Ragging Awareness Mahotsav was a resounding success, igniting thoughtful discussions among students and staff about the importance of addressing and combating the issue of ragging.
