The Principal of the college is the head of the institution and the saint she has chosen to emulate in her life is celebrated as the feast day of the Principal. A feast day is a day set aside to commemorate the life of a saint in catholic tradition. In light of this, the students of the college celebrated the day with pomp and splendour.
The day started with a holy mass celebrated by Fr. Jolly Vadakkan at the college chapel. This was followed by celebrations at the college auditorium. The festal celebrations began with a video presentation made by the students showing the life history of the Principal. This was followed by a prayer dance by the students. The official function began with a welcome address by Ms. Anna Jose, felictations were given by Dr. Tessy K.L., Head, Department of Zoology (Staff representative), Ms Anichris Joshy (Student representative). The students also gave the Principal hand-made greeting cards and expressed their wishes to her. Ms. Jewel Johny delivered the vote of thanks. .
After the formal function students performed various cultural programs such as fusion dance, mime on a theme related to misuse of mobiles, a group song and several other events. The programs were arranged department wise to help organize the programs more efficiently. Students were given sweets to appreciate the efforts they made to make this day memorable.
