NSS Units 76 and 84, in collaboration with Ekta College Union and the Women Cell, organized a “Rally for Justice: Hand in Hand Towards Atrocities Faced by Women.” The rally commenced from the College Main Block and made its way to the Private Bus Stand in Chalakudy at 3 PM.
Dr. Sr. Irene, the Principal of the college, officially inaugurated the rally by flagging it off. It was led by NSS Program Officers, Women Cell Coordinators, NSS leaders, faculty members, and union representatives. Ms. Bindu Sasikumar, the Ward Councillor, addressed the gathering with inspiring words. The event concluded at 4 PM back at the college main block, marking a significant moment of solidarity and awareness for women’s rights.
