Sacred Heart College bid a fond farewell to its outgoing students of the 2020-2023 batch with a grand ceremony held at the College Auditorium. The event was a memorable blend of nostalgia, gratitude, and celebration. The ceremony commenced with a Lighting Lamp ritual, where Principal Dr. Sr. Irene, department heads, and class teachers lit the lamp to symbolize the illumination of knowledge and wisdom for the outgoing students.
Er. Saju Antony Pathadan, Past Kerala Multiple Chairman, Lions International, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring message to the students. The function also featured felicitation speeches by Staff Representative Ms. Fency K.F, Student Representative Ms. I.S. Ardra, and Ms. Amrutha Unni, representing the third-year students. A series of artistic performances by the students added a vibrant touch to the ceremony, showcasing their talents and creativity.
Earlier in the day, a common send-off function was held for third-year degree and second-year PG students, featuring class photos, dance performances by all departments, and prize distribution for arts and sports competition winners. Department-wise send-off functions were also conducted in the classrooms. The farewell ceremony was a heartfelt tribute to the outgoing students, acknowledging their achievements and wishing them success in their future endeavors.
