The Library, in collaboration with the Department of Malayalam, organized Vayanadinam, a celebration to commemorate the literary legacy of P.N. Panicker. The event was held to promote reading habits and literary appreciation among students. The chief guest, Mr. Adarsh, Head of the Department of Malayalam at Sree Keralavarma College, Thrissur, inaugurated the function and delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the historical evolution of reading and its significance. He also enlightened the audience about various literary works and emphasized the importance of cultivating a reading habit.

Sr. Angela, Head of the Department of Malayalam, delivered the welcome address, while Principal Dr. Sr. Irene presented the presidential address. Ms. Siya Santhosh, a student of III IMSC Psychology, offered felicitations, and Ms. Stephy K. Sunny, Librarian, proposed the vote of thanks. The formal function was followed by a debate competition on the relevance of entrepreneurship in today's world compared to government and private sector jobs. Eighteen students actively participated in the debate, showcasing their critical thinking and argumentation skills.
