The PG Department of Commerce organized a one-day workshop focused on capital investment awareness, aimed at promoting financial inclusion through enhanced education and awareness. The workshop sought to empower students to make informed investment decisions and become savvy investors. This initiative, part of SEBI’s outreach efforts, was conducted by Jai Vatnanai & Co., with Mr. Venugopal, an Investment Trainer from the company, serving as the resource person.
The program was structured into two distinct sessions: the first session, held from 10 AM to 12 PM, catered to first-year UG students, while the second session, scheduled from 1 PM to 2:30 PM, focused on third-year UG students. Students actively participated in the interactive sessions, which concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment that allowed for deeper discussion and clarification of investment concepts.
