Deleela was born in Vylathur near Kunnamkulam, Thrissur District. She completed her schooling from Little Flower School, Mammiyoor and completed her Bachelors and Masters from St.Thomas’ College, Thrissur. She qualified UGC NET in November 2022. She joined Sacred Heart College in November 2023.
