To enhance practical skills, hands-on training on LED star-making was organised by the Dept. Physics on 06-11-2019 to 2nd and 3rd Year B.Sc. students, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy. The students were given the training to assemble LED Stars of different patterns. The programme was held in the physics lab and, the faculty of the department and lab technician have given the instructions and guidance to the students. All the 90 stars made were sold to the students and staff of the college. The workshop enhanced the practical implementation of their knowledge and also boosted their marketing skills.
The workshop was led by Ms. Fency K.F, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy and Mr. Jaison K T, Lab Technician, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy. The workshop was arranged for 2 sessions. For both sessions assembling parts of LED products and their components were given to the students.
