The NSS units 76 & 84 of Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy organized an awareness class on drug abuse on 25-10-2022. Dr. Sr. A. Princy Anto, Vice Principal and Assistant Professor, Department of English was the Chair of the function. The awareness class was led by Mr. Ramachandran P., Preventive Officer, Excise Range, Chalakudy. He sensitized the masses against the evil effects of drug usage. He also gave a list of contact numbers wherein all the assembled were exhorted to report drug abuse related activities to the contact numbers provided. Dr. Vijitha Mukundan, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics and NSS Programme Officer felicitated the gathering. NSS volunteers, Ms. Sanya Ashok and Ms. Anna Julia welcomed the audience and proposed the vote of thanks respectively. At the end of the session, as per the request of the resource person two students briefed on the key takeaways of the invited talk.
