In observance of World Suicide Prevention Day, the students and staff of the Department of Psychology, in collaboration with the Jeevani Cell and the Mental Health Club, organized an impactful awareness program focused on suicide prevention. A key feature of the event was a session on “Psychological First Aid for Suicide Prevention,” specifically tailored for the students of the Department of Psychology. The session was led by Ms. Murshida, a Jeevani Counsellor, who served as the resource person. Her expert guidance provided valuable insights into offering timely psychological support and intervention, reinforcing the critical role of mental health awareness in suicide prevention efforts.
