Ms. Noble A. Paliath

Ms. Noble A. Paliath was born on 14 August 1985 in Cherthala, District of Alleppey. She successfully accomplished her school years at Public School, Pattanakad affiliated to the Board of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), New Delhi in 2001 and St. Francis Assisi Higher Secondary School, Arthunkal affiliated to the Board of Higher Secondary Examination (HSE), Government of Kerala in 2003. She took B. A. in English Language and Literature from St. Joseph’s College for Women, Alleppey affiliated to the University of Kerala in 2006 and M. A. in English Language and Literature from S. D. College, Alleppey affiliated to the University of Kerala in 2008. She obtained M. Phil in English Language and Literature from the Institute of English, affiliated to the University of Kerala, Trivandrum in 2010. She qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in June 2012.

She has a total of nine years of teaching experience. She has worked as Lecturer and Vice Principal of Naipunnya School of Management, Cherthala affiliated to the University of Kerala for a period of one year; all-inclusive of teaching and administrative experience from 2010 to 2011. She joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Vimala College, Thrissur affiliated to the University of Calicut in 2014 and served there for a very brief period of one month. She has been offering her unswerving service as Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy affiliated to the University of Calicut since 2014 and has productively completed a period of eight years so far. Also, she has been a Part-time research scholar in the Research and Postgraduate Department of English, Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur affiliated to the University of Calicut, since 2021.

Her realms of pedagogic primacies embrace epistemological spheres of discipline like Ignorance Studies, Gender Studies, Mad Studies, Green Studies, Food Studies, Graphic Narratives, Disability Studies and Posthumanism. As a part of academic progression and professional advancement, she has participated in and presented umpteen contemporary research papers in plethorae of seminars, conferences, symposia and colloquia. She has also a substantial number of research paper publications that also comprises UGC-CARE listed journals to her credit. Furthermore, she has stretched out the horizons of the domain of teaching by having performed in the roles of Subject Expert and Presenter in association with “Glimpses of Indian Writing in English,” a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) produced during the year 2021 by Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMMRC), University of Calicut, on behalf of Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), New Delhi, an Inter-University Centre under UGC.
