NSS UNITS 76 and 84 in association with Physical Education department of Sacred Heart College Chalakudy observed International Yoga Day on 21 June, 2022. To spread the theme “YOGA FOR HUMANITY” and the significance of yoga among students and teachers many activities were conducted in the college under the leadership of Dr. Vijitha Mukundan - NSS Program Officer and Dr. Jesmy Jose- Department of Physical Education. NSS volunteers performed yoga dance which enthralled the audiences. Dr. Jesmy Jose conducted quiz on yoga in which students of all departments of our college participated actively. The resource person Mr. Vyshnav P.G, Yoga Instructor, Govt. Ayurveda Dispensary, Chengaloor addressed the gathering comprising of students and teachers. It was followed by a yoga session in which all students participated actively.
