The Science Enrichment Expo (SEE Expo) 2023, organized by the Science Departments of Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy, in association with IQAC and IIC, was held on September 16, 2023. The event aimed to inspire and enrich the young minds of the region and nurture the scientists of tomorrow. The SEE Expo 2023 at Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy, commenced with a grand inaugural session attended by esteemed personalities. Dr. Santhosh Paul, Head of the Chemistry Department, warmly welcomed everyone, setting a positive tone for the day. Dr. Sr. Irene, the Principal, officially inaugurated the event, emphasizing the paramount importance of science education.
The prestige of the occasion was elevated by the presence of notable individuals, including Prof. Kana M Sureshan, a Professor in Chemistry at IISER, Trivandrum, and Dr. Sebastian C Peter, an Associate Professor at JNCASR, Bengaluru, who delivered thoughtful felicitations, adding depth and significance to the inaugural ceremony. Dr. V Neetha, the IQAC Coordinator, provided a comprehensive overview of the Expo, elucidating its objectives and aspirations. Dr. Nijo Varghese, Head of the Department of Physics, introduced the National Education Policy, further enhancing the depth and relevance of the event's goals. The event's conclusion was gracefully executed by Ms. Fency K F, the IQAC Joint Coordinator, who delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to making the Expo possible and memorable. The SEE Expo featured an impressive showcase of scientific exhibits, projects, and interactive demonstrations, all presented by enthusiastic plus and plus two science students. These exhibits encompassed diverse scientific disciplines, including physics, chemistry, and zoology, providing a comprehensive exploration of the sciences.
