The Department of Physics in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry and NSS units coordinated the Urjakiran 2021-22 program of the Energy Management Center, Govt. of Kerala, in Chalakudy Assembly constituency. The official inauguration of the program was done by Hon’ble MLA Sri. T J Saneesh Kumar Joseph on 02-12-2021. Sri. V O Pailappan, Municipal Chairman, Chalakduy and Srmt. Bindhu Sasikumar, ward councilor, also attended the program. Mr. Mathew P J, resource person of EMC,had given a class on energy management. Dr. Sr. Irene flagged off the energy conservation rally that was arranged from College to the Railway station. Energy conservation signature campaign was inaugurated by Mr. Oliver Sudhir, Station Manager, Chalakudy Railway Station.
