Rinu Devassy was born in Chalakkudy, Thrissur. She completed her schooling at S.H.C.G.H.S.S. Chalakkudy and higher secondary education at St. Sebastian H.S.S., Kuttikad. She completed her graduation and post-graduation in Finance from Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology. She also completed her B.Ed in Commerce from Euphrasia Training College, Kator and MBA in Human Resource Management from Bharathiar University
She has presented a research paper titled “A Study to Understand the Impact of Digital Marketing on Customer Behaviour on OTT Platforms” at an international seminar on Digital Transformation and its Impact on Business and Society conducted by Carmel College (Autonomous), Mala. Her research work was also published in the book Igniting Innovation – The Future of Global Entrepreneurship with ISBN 978-93-340-0148-8.
She has participated in various Faculty Development Programmes, seminars, and workshops related to research, teaching methodologies, and NEP orientation. She has experience in teaching, student mentoring, and academic coordination. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Chalakkudy since June 2025.
