Ms. Fency K F

Fency was born in Thalakkottukara, Thrissur District. She completed her schooling from Sacred Heart Convent Girls Higher Secondary School, Thrissur. She got graduated from St. Thomas’ College, Thrissur and took her Post-Graduation in Physics from Calicut University Campus. She completed B.Ed in Physical Science from Govt. IASE Thrissur. She qualified CSIR JRF in Physics in December (AIR 73) 2014. She worked as Guest Lecturer at KKTM Govt. College, Kodungallur for one year. She joined the Department of Physics, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy as Assistant Professor on 5th June 2017. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph. D in Part Time mode from the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam in its Research Centre at St. Xavier’s College For Women, Aluva under the guidance of Dr. Sujatha N.V. Her areas of research interests include UV Astronomy and Extragalactic radiation. Her teaching interests are in Statistical Mechanics and Particle Physics. She is a Life Member of Academy of Physics Teachers (APT), Kerala.
