Liby Leo Akkara

Liby Leo Akkara, from Thrissur, is a distinguished academic who submitted her Ph.D. She has significant professional experience as a lecturer in various esteemed institutions, including St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, and Mother Arts & Science College, Peruvallur. She is an ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship awardee, an active member of the National Positive Psychology Association, and serves as an academic counsellor at IGNOU. Her dedication to psychology is evident through her role as a district-level resource person in psychology for the State Resource Centre, Kerala.

  • Conducted an extension lecture on the topic “ Ending the Epidemic Resilience & Impact” in association with World AIDS Day on 1st December 2020
  • Resource Person for a State Level Webinar on the topic ‘Stress Management and Emotional Health’ conducted by the Finishing School of the Department of English, St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth on 8th October 2021.
  • Resource person for the programme ‘Bedi Bachavo Bedi Padhavo’ organized by ICDS Ollur (woman& child development) and delivered a talk on the topic ‘Woman Empowerment’ on 04/03/2022.
  • Conducted one day counselling and orientation programme for plus two students on 5th March 2022 at St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Meloor.
  • Resource for a talk on anti-drug awareness programme organized by St.Antony’s HSS Pudukad in association with Pudukad police station for plus two students on 29th September 2022.
