Sandra Juliet Jose

Sandra was born in Manjeri, Malappuram District. She completed her schooling from Nazareth Senior Secondary School, Manjeri and St Joseph’s Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Changanacherry, Kottayam District. She got graduated from Mar Ivanios College, Trivandrum and took her Post-Graduation from Loyola College, Chennai. She holds NET with JRF in English Literature and also in Women Studies. She joined Assumption College (Autonomous), Changanacherry as Assistant Professor in the Department of English in 2014 and worked there for three years. She also worked as the faculty of Civil Services Institute, Pala, and the Academic Coordinator (Part-Time) and Faculty of Changanacherry Civil Services Institute, an initiative of the Arch Diocese of Changanacherry. She joined the Department of English, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy as Assistant Professor on 7th June 2017. Her areas of academic interest include Travel Writing, Historical Fiction, Dalit Studies, Literary Theory and Cultural Studies. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph. D in Part Time mode from the University of Calicut in its Research Centre at St. Thomas College, Thrissur. And she is also serving as a resource person for Polity, Geography and English Literature for Competitive Exams in various institutes.
