The Physical Education department was established right from the inception of the College in 1980. Our department is professionally managed and focused on specific sports and games events. We are giving special attention for the physical fitness and mental well-being of the students in the College. The department gives proper orientation to all the students right from joining the College. The students’ selection to various sports and games events will be conducted in the due course. Renowned and expert coaches used to be appointed for focusing various events. Over the preceding decades, the department has established itself as one of the leading achiever in cycling, karate, softball and baseball. The well trained and professionally focused athletes securing several achievements in various championships in state and national level. A well equipped fitness center welcomes every student and keeps maintaining the physical fitness of the students. A well established 400 m track and an annexed pavilion is a big asset of the department. We have conducted many in-door and out-door University championships in the College. The department offers major events as: Karate, Cycling, Softball, Baseball, Ball badminton, Athletics. The reputation of the department is very high in some of the events as one of our old students had been recently selected to the national softball team.
The Fitness Centre at Sacred Heart provides ample opportunity for our students and local women for work-outs which are an effective means to maintain good health.

We also have a good collection of sports equipments which include archery equipments, track cycles etc. Our Recreation centre is especially designed for indoor games like Carom, Chinese checker, Chess and Table tennis.
