Dona Mary was born in Thrissur. She did her bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy. She completed her post graduate degree from St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Devagiri, Calicut. Published a book chapter on the topic “Divergence and Distribution of Dragonflies in Western Ghats”.
