Dr. M.S Rajan

Dr. M.S. Rajan was born in Karaikal, Pondicherry. He completed schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Karaikal (CBSE) and St Mary’s HSS, Karaikal. He earned BSc and MSc degrees in zoology in 1999 and 2002, respectively, from Pondicherry University, and MPhil and PhD degrees in zoology in 2003 and 2023, respectively, from the University of Madras. He was a recipient of UGC-NFOBC 2018-19 fellowship for his doctoral studies. He worked as an academic editorial professional at various levels in different e-publishing companies during 2004–2017. He has published research papers in indexed journals; presented papers and participated at several conferences. He has also attended several workshops and webinars. He joined as an assistant professor of zoology in Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy in June 2025.
