Dr. Harinagaraj M was born in Munnar. He completed his schooling in Munnar and pursued his undergraduate degree in Zoology at St. Thomas College, Pala, affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. He then obtained his postgraduate degree in Zoology from Mar Ivanios College, Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram, under the University of Kerala. With a passion for teaching and environmental research, he completed his B.Ed. from the Government College of Teacher Education, Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram, and his M.Phil. in Zoology from the University of Kerala, Kariavattom Campus. He further pursued his Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Kerala, focusing on “Stream Ecology and Biomonitoring of River Muthirapuzha, the Major Tributary of River Periyar.” Dr. Harinagaraj has over 12 years of experience in the entrance coaching field, particularly preparing students for NEET examinations. He has served as a HSST (Zoology) at various government higher secondary schools in Kerala. He also worked as an Assistant Professor (Guest) at Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram. He has presented papers at national and international seminars and published his research in reputed journals. His academic interests include Ecology, Entomology, Animal Physiology, Biodiversity, Fresh Water Biology and Environmental Conservation. In addition to his teaching and research roles, he is also involved in student mentoring, environmental awareness programmes, and co-curricular academic development.
