Clinical psychology department of Sacred Heart College provide services such as counselling, psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic services to students, staffs and parents who are in need of professional psychological help. We help those going through difficult times in their lives such as difficulties in studies, addictions, cope up with death of a loved one, anger issues, anxiety, depression and any other kind of mental health issue. We focus on overall subjective wellbeing of our students. We provide life skill training to our students which will help them to cope up with the challenges of life. Clinical psychology department ensures scientific evaluation of our students mental health issues with the service of licensed clinical psychologist using standardized tests. After evaluation, we provide detailed psychosocial education on concerned mental health issue.
Psy. Juliet Shony, CRR No: A47269 is a RCI licensed Clinical Psychologist graduated as the University topper in M.Phil. clinical psychology from PostGraduate Institute Of Behavioural And Medical Sciences, Raipur. After thorough evaluation, mode of treatment is determined. Depending upon the nature of the problem, we offer both short-term and long-term therapeutic approaches, based upon the cognitive and behavior models of treatments. We use Behaviour Therapy (BT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Metacognitive therapy, Solution Focused Psychotherapy and many other psychotherapeutic approaches as per the requirement.
