Urjakiran 2021-22: A workshop on “Go electric campaign”, is organized at Govt. High School, V R Puram on 27th December 2021. The program is funded and supported by the Energy Management Center, Govt. of Kerala. The objective of the program is to create awareness among the general public and equip them for efficient management of all forms of energy. Mrs. Alees Shibu, ward councilor inaugurated the workshop. EMC Resource person Mr. Prasad Pulikall had handled the session on energy management.
Urjakiran 2021-22: Various activities of the Urjakiran 2021-22 in the Chalakudy assembly constituency were organized on 02th December 2021 under the theme “Go Electric”. The program is funded and supported by the Energy Management Center, Govt. of Kerala. The theme for this year’s Awareness Campaign by EMC is selected as The official inauguration of the events was done by Sri.T. J. Saneesh Kumar Joseph (Chalakudy MLA) in the presence of Sri.V.O. Pailappan, Municipal Chairman, Chalakudy and Srmt. Bindhu Sasikumar, Ward Councilor. EMC Resource person Mr. Mathew P.J. had handled a session on energy management. Principal Dr. Sr. Reena Ittyachan flagged off the rally from the college. Mr. Oliver Sudhir, Station Manager, Chalakudy Railway Station inaugurated the signature campaign at the railway station premises. Leaflets with tips for energy management are distributed to the participants.
SAKSHAM 2020: Oil and Gas Conservation mass awareness campaign is organized jointly by Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) with the sole purpose of bringing awareness among the people in need of Oil & Gas conservation and means to do it. The program marked its commencement with the pledge taken by students and the teachers about the conservation of energy. After that Inter-departmental Essay and painting competition was organized as part of SAKSHAM-2020.An Inter-departmental quiz competition was also conducted on 25th December 2020. The theme of the competitions was Electric vehicles and the future of petroleum fuels. The winners of the various competitions were awarded cash prizes.
