Netball is a ball sport played by two teams of seven players, and is predominantly played by women. Netball is similar to basketball although the rules, equipment and team numbers are different. There peculiarity of this game is no dribbling, no running with the ball, ball passed within 3 seconds, ball & basket slightly smaller, players designated to certain areas. Netball is an invasion game that focuses on team work, and passing and shooting.

Netball is a non-contact sport, which means you cannot come into contact with another player. The object of the game, is for teams to pass the ball around and to score more goals than the opposing team. Players’ movements are restricted on the court depending on their ‘position’ on the team. Each position has a different role to play.
