Internal examination committee is constituted at the beginning of every academic year under the supervision of the Principal and it includes a staff co-ordinator and four staff members to plan and execute all the issues pertaining to the smooth conduct of the internal examination for the odd and even semesters of UG as well as PG courses of every year.
The schedule for the internal examinations are to be prepared and published in advance for the academic year by the internal examination committee with the approval of the Principal
As per the decision of the academic council with Principal as its chairperson it is decided to have two internal examinations in every semester. The first internal exams should be as per the end semester examinations model and the second internal exams should be of one hour duration. Both examinations shall be conducted by the Internal Examination Cell. The average of the two internal exams will be considered for the internal assessment of the student.
The coordinator of the internal examination will give prior notice to the faculty members regarding the date and conduct of the exam at least ten days before the commencement of the exam and the faculty members are to prepare the question paper in accordance with the prescribed syllabus. HoDs are requested to collect and handover these question papers of first and second internal examinations at least five days before the commencement of the exam and submit the same to the internal exam cell.
Answer scripts are to be valued by the concerned faculty and marks should be entered in the Mark Book, to be submitted to the Principal within seven days of the completion of the last exam. (HoDs are requested to take the initiative for the same).
Absentees of the internal examination will be given a second chance to appear for the examination on production of a medical certificate by an authorized medical practitioner or after receiving a written satisfactory explanation from the parent after remitting a fee of Rs. 50/- to the concerned departments offering the course.
