Promotion policies in the college are designed to foster a productive and supportive research environment, encouraging faculty members to excel in their scholarly pursuits and contribute meaningfully to the academic community and beyond.

Policy Components
- Financial Support Schemes: Apply for financial support schemes from Central and State agencies to ensure that facilities for research are constantly upgraded.
- Research Laboratory Access: Both faculty and scholars are provided the services of various research laboratories working in the college at a subsidized rate.
- Patent and Project Support: Teachers wishing to apply for patents and projects are provided with necessary support.
- Encouraging Research Output: The policy aims to increase the research capabilities and output of research scholars by encouraging them to publish papers and books, make paper presentations, apply for patents, and attend workshops/training/courses to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Best Researcher Award: The Best Researcher Award (given once in 3 years) is granted to a faculty member/ research scholar who has made significant contributions to the research culture and output of the college during their tenure after the scrutiny and recommendation of the Research Committee.
- Research Seed Money: Research seed money will be provided to create a sustainable environment for research, with a total allocation of ₹1,25,000 for the academic year.
Application Process
- Approval from the Research Committee
- It is the discretion of the awarding committee to sanction the full amount requested or not. 75% of the sanctioned amount will be handed over to the applicant along with the Sanction order. The remaining 25% will be given to the applicant on the submission of the project and CA audited report, Utilisation Certificate and other documents. The applicant must submit the application in the given format with required supporting documents to the Research Committee.
